Haleakala, Central Maui & Iao Valley Tour

Haleakala, Central Maui & Iao Valley Tour

Visit a 10,023-foot dormant volcano, the tallest peak on the island of Maui, which last erupted in the 17th century (admission included). The park covers over 33,000 acres, just over 19,000 of which are designated as a wilderness area.

Then, spend about an hour at Iao Valley State Park and Iao Needle. This natural rock pinnacle is surrounded by the walls of a volcanic crater. Take a short hiking trail up to a windy overlook to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Home to Iao Valley State Park, Wailuku is the seat of government on Maui. All main county, state and federal offices are there. A great attraction with many historic and religious tourist destinations, you will enjoy exploring this quaint town.

The order of stops is subject to change but all of these locations are included on your tour! The sightseeing stops along Maui range from 15 to 40 minutes apart and there are plenty of restroom stops along the way and at each location visited.
